Universal apps Mac app store

So do people thnk thei'r going to be universal apps for Mac and idevices ?
It would be pretty awesome. And would it even be possible to emulate Mac apps on the iPhone/ iPad or vice verca?

It's Mac Store for a reason, Apple could have just expanded the iTunes App Store if they wanted to do what you're saying.

Possible? Yes. Allowed? No. A good idea? No way.

Any system can theoretically emulate another system, but a slower processor emulating a faster processor is just a bad idea.

Maybe simple apps, but I don't think so. You'd have to deal with the whole screen resolution thing too.

The whole point of "Universal" Applications in Mac OS X is that they can run on PowerPC, X86 (and AMD64 if the App is 64 bit).

The idea isn't a good one though.
