I think they will come with time, it has only been four months since the release of the iPad. The iPhone is more than 3 years old and the App store more than two years.

My only critic is towards Apple, I can't believe that they release a device and are not able to upgrade all of their apps to work perfectly on it.

Here's a list of Apps that are not Native iPad Apps:

Remote
Keynote Remote
Clock
Calculator
Stocks
Weather
Apple Store
MobileMe Gallery
Texas Hold'em
iMovie (This one has excuse)

9 Apps they released and aren't able to update for iPad users.

I agree. Very annoying. Even more so, the Remote app is also not optimized for IOS4. That is an app that just cries out for multitasking. I use my iPhone to control iTunes regularly and it's frustrating on the iPad because it looks like crap and doesn't support landscape. On the iPhone it's fine until you need to make a call or check your email....then when you go back to Remote - it has to reconnect. C'mon Apple!

I think whats even worse is how app data doesn't sync between devices through the cloud. If I get to a certain level on Plants v Zombies on my iPad, I want to be able to pick up my iPhone and start from exactly where I left off, or else I just won't play it on my iPhone... I'm venturing a guess that this might come when they release the Game Center, but that doesn't solve the problem with non game apps also. I expect this in a year or two when they start using that data facility in North Carolina.

Besides that, HD versions of apps are really starting to annoy me, if I payed 5$ for Field Runners on my iPhone I think it's ridiculous to make me pay 8$ for it on the iPad. Yes I know it takes a lot of time to convert it, but at least give me a discount or make it an in-app purchase like above posters have said.
