** Sorry if this is in the wrong place!**

I use the universal clipboard a lot for when I'm studying but haven't studied (oops) for a while now. I'm starting up again but realise the universal clipboard doesn't work.

WiFi is on and connected to both iPhone and Mac. Bluetooth for both is also on and they're paired. Both are signed into the same iCloud account as well so I'm not sure why it doesn't work?!

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm using an iPhone 8+ and a 2013 MacBook Air. Both on the latest versions of High Sierra/iOS 11.

Are you definitely on the latest software versions released a couple of days ago?

Funnily it says in the notes that they include improvements for universal clipboard.

When it goes bad for me I find that the only way to properly fix it is to sign out of iCloud and back in again. This is obviously a PITA. So another option is to change your Apple ID password because this has the same effect, albeit in a less destructive way, by reissuing the encryption tokens between your devices.
