Universal Control works great from Mac to Mac but for some reason it does not work with my 2nd Gen iPad Pro 10.5” even though all iPad Pros are officially supported. Toggled universal Control off and on, rebooted the devices, same iCloud account but no luck. Anyone else experience this and have a fix?

It took me a while to get it straightened out. I didn't have my iPad connected to my MacBook via Bluetooth. Have you tried that?

Success. Thanks but I can only get it to work with one Mac. According to Apple it should work with 3 devices. I’d like to make it work with two Mac and an iPad

Hi folks, this solution still doesn't work for me. My iPad is getting disconnected while I try to connect from my MBP

I am having the same issue with my iPad Pro 10.5. I tried the connect to iPad via bluetooth but it does not stay connected. Universal Control does work without any issue with my 3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9 and my 5th generation iPad Mini.

I decided to try signing out and signing back in to iCloud on my iPad Pro 10.5 and after a few minutes the 10.5 showed up as available to link keyboard and mouse and now works seamlessly like my other two iPads. In Bluetooth devices it does not show as connected.

Nice when it works, but this is definitely a beta feature!! It works, then it doesn't, then it does, then it doesn't.........

Having the same issue here and that fix unfortunately only worked temporarily. It seems like I can get it to work temporarily by restarting both the iPad/Mac and then toggling the settings off and on with both, but it's just a temporary fix and won't connect for the next use. Has anyone found a long term fix?

Never got to make it work here, using MBP M1 macos 12.4 with iPad 9th gen iOS 15.4.1.

That is because in the 12.4 beta, your iPad would need to be on the 15.5 beta for UC to work.

But there is no iPad OS 15.5 yet, is there? I just checked yesterday on it and there are no more updates available.

Like the 12.4 beta you're using on the Mac, 15.5 is in beta.
