I plugged my iPhone into the Universal Dock that is in my car. It is running through a Monster Cable Stero RCA cable to my Sony head unit. There is nothing that charges the iPod while in the dock. I docked the iPhone and got the message saying the accessory wasn't for the iPhone. Is this normal? All there was connected was the universal doc and the RCA cable. Would this also suggest that a standard 5th gen iPod charger won't charge the iPhone?
