Well good thing it isn't a radio drama.
You got me on this one!
Well good thing it isn't a radio drama.
Why are they making a different Steve Jobs movie? What was so wrong with the Ashton Kutcher film?
Movies and actors are dramatizations of stories that are dramatizations of reality themselves? That's just crazy and would never work for any movie unless they use the actual people involved in the events (or perhaps their doppelgängers at worst) and say and do exact same things that actually happened. It's all a failure otherwise...as practically every non-documentary movie has demonstrated throughout history!Sorkin is such a hack of a writer though
Who could forget the cringe worthy dialog of Newsroom
Whenever anything would happen, three characters would talk at the same time trying to explain it.
As much as we love the Social Networks soundtrack
The actual story had nothing to do with Privacy, Stalking, or reaming tons of cash off personal data all generated by the users. (The REAL story of Facebook)
Sorkin's understanding of the web is 1.0 while we're in Post 2.0/Mobile
The choice for Aryan Fassbender to play Syrian Jobs is just moronic, might as well give Jobs a British accent too, while you're at it ?! WTF
You're right. Ashton looks far more like Steve Jobs. Ashton looks nothing like Fassbender. Why are you comparing Ashton to Fassbender. Is Ashton playing Fassbender in an upcoming movie?
I personally think that Fassbender will be good, but I was bummed when Bale dropped out. I think he would have been fantastic. Bale is in some ways like the second coming of Gary Oldman.
Ashton looks far more like Steve than Fassbender. The movie might not have been better... but he looked the part and was more similar and therefor more convincing as Steve.

Ah, yes, bringing in some sort of political affiliations to try to put something down...truly a sign of a meaningful commentary. /sMost former Apple employees I know and/or worked with laugh at all the Jobs worshipers. Guy was a slave driver who would speak before he thought about it. Amazing that all the PC lefties who love equality also loved and worshiped a selfish person who regularly abused his employees.
What's everyone's thoughts regarding Seth Rogen? What's he going to bring to the table?![]()
Or it could work out just fine (if not better) when the movie is actually out. I mean they got Bratt Pitt and Jonah Hill for Moneyball and plenty of people didn't get how that would work out, yet it did rather well. The cast just ruins it for me. Seth Rogen? Seriously? And I like most people would have greatly preferred Bale. It's clear the studio wanted to cram an A-list cast down our throats, and that was their only motivation in casting.
