The MBP burns slow, this is the first DVD I'm burning on it, and it's only 2.9GB, but taking forever. I'm only on my second of 9 copies.

What else can I use to make a copy of a DVD?

You can use Toast v7.0.2 just fine on your Mac Book... it runs in Rosetta, but there's no performance hit for copying... it's only slower when encoding or decoding. So not need to give the sad face because it's PPC.

I was about to say the same thing. I've been using it a bit lately and I haven't noticed that bad of a hit in performance.

I burned a few DVD's with toast under rosetta with no problems at all. It worked perfectly, and quite fast too considering the 4X drive on the MBP.
