Hi guys, I'm new here, I'm from Spain so don't be too harsh with me for the way I speak English 😉

I bought the January Software Update when it came out, but last month I jailbreaked my iPod, now I made a restore of the 1.1.4 in preparation for the 2.0 and the Software Update is not there, and everytime I synch the iPod in iTunes it displays a popup saying that iTunes was unable to install the software update due to an unknown error (-4). Any clues?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Weird isn't it? That happened to me as well and needless to say I was a bit peeved to lose the software I paid for. After a couple hours (actually more like 4 hours) after a few times unplugging and replugging and quitting/restarting itunes.... it eventually appeared again.
I hope you find the same thing happens to you.

Mi iPod wouldn't restore when it had 1.1.4 on it. It only properly restored when it displayed N/A for everything after a 'Preparing for Restore.'

Good Luck, 2.0 is awesome.
