Unknown Status Bar Icon

Happy Independance Day! Can someone tell me what this status bar icon is? It's the box and "N". It just showed up two days ago. It shows up every time I open the phone program or any program with access to the net.

That's a part of Backgrounder. It means the current application is being backgrounded. The N means it's using iOS 4's native backgrounding.
