I don't know whether 'Unlimited data" is worth an extra $30. I make a decision after my friends use it.
Just to give you an idea of how much data is actually used, I just watched an episode of the office on netflix and it used about 80MB of data

I was going to tell you just keep checking Best Buy's website theyre pretty good about inventory notifications online, but then I saw you're in NYC, I am so sorry, it must be impossible to get an iPad there

Yes, it is. Best Buy is sold out in the city so now I'm checking Best Buy's in the surrounding areas. I'd have to take a train out to get it. 🙁

I just picked up a 3G 64gb Ipad from Best Buy this morning after checking their online inventory. I went in there wanting to get the 32gb 3G, but ended up getting the 64gb since the guy before me got the last 32gb. And I wanted to make sure I had a chance of getting the Unlimited Data plan. Havent gotten a chance to Open it up and set it up, since I am at work. Hopefully I'll still be able to get the Unlimited Data tonight when I get home.

Yes, but like everything else the second that you turn it off you will end up needing it.
