Unlimited data trick tut with pictures

The same old unlimited data trick that has been going on.

1) Get a dumb phone, put your SIM card in it and call AT&T to get rid of your iPhone data plan
2) Get an original iPhone, put your SIM card in it and activate it in iTunes to get the unlimited 2G data plan.
3) Put your SIM card back in your iPhone 4 and wait for AT&T to automatically change you from the $20/mo unlimited edge data plan to the $30/mo unlimited 3G data plan.
 
it wasn't a great secrete TS took it down after ATT discovered it. I give the TS for remving it before ATT got after others because of it. TS should request the thread be closed to eliminate confusion..

If ATT hadn't "discovered" it for the 5 or 6 months it was functioning they weren't trying very hard. :) Some store reps were even "instructing" on how to do it. You think they JUST suddenly realized what was going on ? :D

What I think what happened was they were happy to let it continue ($$$$) until some point in time someone higher up said "enough." A close friend of mine just did it about 2 weeks ago (and FTR he has a FAN account) with no problem.
