Cricket is probably the same as the Sprint iPhone 5. It's locked and if the carrier unlocks it, it is only for international use. It won't work on AT&T or T-Mobile in the US.

Whenever you do unlock it for international use though, how does that work?

I mean when you come back to the US, is it unlocked.

I'm gonna bug them with that question! If I can get them to unlock it for international use. The thing about the iPhone 5 is it supports both CDMA and GSM.

I live in Jiangsu,China.my ip5's part no. is also MD105 LL.It doesn't work here.
我生活在中国江苏,我的iPhone5型号也是MD105LL,插SIM卡无服务,操它大爷!

Yep, I paid a lot of attention to your experience, lol... Actually I think you have noticed that someone has tried out that the device also encountered the same problem in UK, not reporting an invalid SIM card but just keeps on searching for signal.

BTW, have you traveled inside the US where is not covered by the Cricket's own network? They told me that iPhone would not be guaranteed to work when it's covered by their partners' network such as Spring or MetroPCS... Crossing my fingers, waiting for your answer! Thanks! :)

Wow well that makes it pretty much useless. I wonder if Cricket would unlock it themselves.
I spent hours and hours on the phone with cricket absolutely will not unlock my I phone5. How can they do that the phone is mine?
