Unlock fusion scam?

I have a 32GB iPhone 5 on AT&T. So I can buy this unlock, I put my phone into iTunes and blah blah blah...then bam, its unlocked?


So unlocking is legal right? What is everyone saying about it not being legal?

I wouldn't worry much about it.
After the unlock goes through you can just stick another carriers sim and connect to wifi and the phone will activate with any gsm sim. You don't even need iTunes.

When I registered with the correct site http://www.unlockfusion.net I received an email to complete registration and the email address that this email came from was the same as the email address I have received in 3 prior unlocks.

The down side part is that the minimum amount of credits to order is now 20. If I'm not mistaken, that's 20 future unlocks. This is the same company everyone has been speaking positive about. Other's can confirm the correct email address from the unlockfusion on ebay was "unlockfusion at gmail .com". That's the same address my confirmation for http://www.unlockfusion.net came from.

Hope this helps people from getting scammed out there. I'm getting ready to purchase some credits since my iphone5 was damaged and replaced. I just hate to have to get 20 credits when I only have 1 phone to unlock.

Obviously the owner is pushing for reseller accounts and knows he can sell 20 at a time and you can turn around and sell those to your friends. The agreement states phone must be purchased before a certain date in 2013 when the law changed where it is illegal to do so. But if your phone was purchased after that date then it is illegal. Maybe that explains the minimum purchase of 20 at a time. Trying to get that last nickle and dime. I think that is still a legal agreement and unlock is still done, your just agreeing that the phone was purchased prior to that date.

This website is a scam. I paid $49.99 to have my IPhone %C unlocked within 5-10 days. I did not get my phone unlocked and the site claims they have no record of my request; the money cleared through my pay pal account. I have a case pending. I'm hoping to get my money back.

one thing I have noticed is that due to many site's names being similar, customers often actually do mess up when contacting the sites....they will order from one site and then contact another and start accusing...It is always very important to make sure that the website that you ordered from IS the site you are contacting....

Best thing to do is when you order from a site...bookmark it...dont google search it every time you want to contact the site admin.

I've had customers send me Emails with order confirmation numbers accusing me that they are from me....until I highlight the info and send back only to have them say "Sorry I found your site through google"......
 
be carefull.....fusionunlock.com are cheaters......they say they have good prices but thats only to cheat you.

Unlock fusion is a scam!! Do not order with them please save your money and dont give them your personal information
