Is it possible at this moment to unlock iPhone 3G running the 2.2.1 firmware without the use of the turbo sim? And if so can someone please send me a link for the tutorial?

    Google is your friend.

    Educate yourself here.

You can downgrade the baseband and run yellowsn0w if the bootloader is the old version. *hopefully*

Being rude = A terrible way to get help.

If you were patient enough to actually read links given to you, you would see that you had a link to your answer, as well as instructions on how to do it.

    Well played.

PS: The answer to your original question is yes. Enjoy.

I told you exactly what you need. a BASEBAND DOWNGRADER and YELLOWSN0W, and gave you the official site of the people that created the jailbreak so you can read and learn how to do it. How is that lame? I shouldn't have bothered to post here in the first place.
