Unlock iPhone 3G. URGENT :(

I'm seriously at my limit.
I have with me an
iPhone 3G
Baseband: 05.12.01
Version: 3.1.3 (7E18)
Locked to Vodafone

I need it unlocked within about 4 hours or i'm screwed
Please help 🙁

Since it's a 3G, did you try Fuzzyband (must be jailbroken first) Outside of that option, I guess you are screwed !

In most countries, Vodafone offers an official unlocking service. It would most likely take more than four hours, but it's better than nothing. Which country are you in?

Since it's a 3G, did you try Fuzzyband (must be jailbroken first) Outside of that option, I guess you are screwed !

Do this and you'll have an unlock much faster if you have Bootloader 5.08 (the earliest 3G's). If it's not an early one, probably not worth bothering though.

I think it's slightly overdramatic to say i 'shouted'. I added capitals to indicate urgency. I'm in the UK so i'll check that vodafone unlock out. Cheers

According to Apple, Vodafone UK doesn't not offer unlocking. It's probably still worth checking with Vodafone though, in case Apple's site is incorrect.

That's too bad.

I don't see the problem with the caps myself. They're just caps to me. They bother others. Now changing the font to something like this would irritate me:

Or posting the same sentence over and over in pink (it's been done for a whole page awhile back when someone was told not to post some word I forget).

Well it wasn't done in your dramatic 4 hour timeframe, but a factory unlock is best. Glad it's working out.

Those of us in the US are very jealous of you Brits.
