Hey guys my little niece has a iPhone se for family mobile we’re looking to unlock it. Not sure if there going to or not. But it’s on 11.2.6 so it should have a jailbreak in a week or so. My question is if I can’t get it unlocked from T-Mobile. Is there away to unlock it through jailbreak?

Nope.

Software unlocks (which this is) died in 2011. The reason they died is because around that time and for a few years the market for $1-3 third party unlocks was very hot. Pay a dollar (back then) and get the phone permanently unlocked versus jailbreaking and software unlocking.

If you restore after a software unlock the phone relocks as well. And that's why they died. No one does this any more.

You shouldn't have any problems USING it on Sprint. It's just getting it unlocked.

Have you asked for an unlock from T-Mob yet?
