Apps Unlocked GPS edition?

Guys - I'm trying to buy a 2nd hand apple watch on ebay and see a filtered unlocked even with the GPS model. Why would the GPS model have to be unlocked? Doesn't make sense to me

Think OP is talking about the search option for "Network" under AW sales. Lists all the cellcos that support AW along with "unlocked".
