iPhone Unlocked iPhone 4 on Virgin Mobile?

I'm trying to research this information for a friend. I understand Virgin Mobile is a CDMA network so if I find a good deal with someone selling their iPhone 4/4s for Sprint of Verizon on iOS5, can I jailbreak, unlock and use it on VM?
