I need an unlocked iPhone 4, I know I can get one from the UK :apple: retail store; but they're are far away from me and I was wondering if I buy an iPhone from O2 or Vodafone or something on Pay As You go, will it be unlocked?

As above, buy it online from Apple. Only thing is you will have to get your micro sim separate but your network should provide that free of charge, well vodafone did for me anyway.

Buying PAYG from O2 is 4p cheaper than from Apple, but buying it from O2 means it's locked to O2.
