i was under the impression that if you bought an iPhone from the apple site it is unlocked. But I see carrier choices only. So does this mean if I bought the Tmobile version I would be locked to Tmobile? Or is this just for compatibility reasons and the phone is still unlocked for use on att or cricket, etc..?
