Well I just bought a used iphone and rogers sim card. I bought $10 rogers text messege package but I am having problems. The top left says no service and sometimes displays a 3 white dashed line. I cant send texts and get errors and feel like im wasting my text plan. So what gives?

It's not because your phone is unlocked.
Sounds like you have a bad SIM. Are you able to make phone calls?
I dont have that package but I cant send texts and I called rogers and they said they would send a text to see if I can receive but it didnt work. They tld me to insert this long number and it didnt work and I am wasting my money not using it. Is this a phone hardware problem?
