Unlocking iPhone 4 on iOS 5

Hi all!

I have a locked iPhone 4 to Vodafone UK and have installed the iOS beta (latest version). The phone wasn't unlocked on iOS 4. Is it possible yet to unlock the iPhone on iOS 5?

JB and unlocking is not the same.

Jailbreak != Unlock. There hasn't been a software unlock available for the iPhone 4 since 4.0.1, if memory serves.

But since you mention being on a EU carrier, shouldn't they unlock it for you if you request it (not locked in permanently like the US)?

If you're on Pay Monthly with Vodafone they should do it for free.
