Unlocking iPhone 4 OS 4.2.1. is it possible?

Hi. I have an iPhone 4 which is on OS 4.2.1 and I need it to be unlocked so I can use it with a different SIM, and carrier. I'm in a different country to where I bought it from. I've been reading different reports on wether it's possible to unlock and jailbreak the iPhone 4 and I figured you guys would know.

If it's possible could you give me step by step instructions, or a link to a webpage that has them?

There's not an unlock available, your only option is factory unlock if somehow you can get it or play the waiting game.
