Unlocking iPhone 4

can it be done? Also just wondering also, if the sim card has not been activated on the iPhone 4 is it still capable of being unlocked?
 
Yes it can be done. Although not at this time. We are awaiting the unlock from the iPhone Dev Team. Is is not out for public use as of this writing.

There is no jailbreak or unlock for iPhone 4 yet.

When it does get released (soon we think), the phone will need to be activated to use it.
 
I don't know if this forum should be irritated or flattered that everyone comes here to ask essentially the same exact question!

Your first statement is SO misleading. The answer is no.

No, his statement is accurate. It has already been demonstrated that the iPhone 4 can be unlocked, even if the tool has not yet been released. To answer simply "no" as you would have him would be far more misleading.
