Unlocking my 2G iphone for T-mobile.

My iphone is currently on 3.0, unlocked for T-mobile in the US. I want to update it, but I want to make sure that there are not going to be any problems. Are there ANY issues with the 3.1.2 firmware that I should be aware of? Does ActivateMMS2G work on 3.1.2? Is there anything that doesn't work on 3.1.2 (cydia apps)?

ANYTHING else that I should be aware of at all?
