factory unlock cost about $150 on eBay. I'm just going for a trip for 2weeks and wanna use the local carrier. 🙁

Has anyone tried to purchase IMEI unlock from Fido?
 
Hmm Fido unlocks seem to be much more expensive than AT&T ones. I got my AT&T iPhone 5 unlocked for $6.

150? unlockfusion should be 10 bux tops. and that's for a 5.
the 4s was $6.75.
 
a lot of them don't unlock Fido's phone. I'm still searching for a cheaper one. $65 is the cheapest I found so far. 🙁
 
Yes, not all carriers can be unlocked for as cheap as AT&T iphones.
Some carriers dont have ebay imei unlocks at all or some that do are like $100-150.
Some carriers are really strict when it comes to iphone unlocking.
Unlike AT&T that there's like hundreds of sellers of iphone unlocks and prices keep dropping every day.
 
Fido unlocks for $50 but I believe the phone needs to be off contract. Call them and check if your phone is eligible.
