Unmirror front camera on iPhone X

Hello everyone, I have googled this and I see there are apps that can be downloaded but I am just wondering if there is something that can be done to unmirror the front facing camera on the iPhone X? When I take a picture in portrait mode it’s what I see on the screen instead of a reverse image of myself. Apps like kik and Snapchat have this built in but I like the new features of the camera app but not that it’s a reversed image. I tried to find a thread about this but nothing came up.

I don't think it can be done, which is stupid. You can't even horizontally edit flip an image with iOS without using an app.

Everyone looks worse on that mirrored version the iphone takes unless you have a perfectly symmetrical face hence snapchat instagram etc. doing it the other way. Perhaps apple likes having it the wrong way so you can read text correctly on shirts and on signs in the background, so handy for a front facing "selfie" camera.

Now before someone will say that that is the same view as how people see you: Well in that case, the live preview should be flipped too so you can at least compensate and get the result of the image you are taking lol

Snapseed - free app by Google. A great app which gives you want you want and free set of impressive tools.

I think the majority of the free image editing apps do it. But I guess photoshop express or snapseed, thats free.
or camera+, facetune etc for pay.

they just need to add an option in settings at least...
