Aside from all the off-topic comments regarding Quake being the "end-all-be-all of cellular gaming."

I really love the innovative ideas behind Trism & I will be planning on purchasing it the day it arrives in the iTunes store. =]

this game looks great... however, i'm curious is the game ends? or if there are levels?... seems like now it's very casual and never-ending, which kinda makes it flat...

I'm glad you brought this point up because it's very important for mobile gaming. A "casual" mobile game is NOT one that is never-ending. They should be able to be finished & be interruptible because after all you are traveling. At the Game Developer's Conf this year this was part of a presentation and some developers and key speakers spoke about how bad Tetris is for mobile gaming simply because it can be a very long game. Sure it has awesome re-play value but like you said, it's flat. It all depends on how much skill the player has.. bad player= short, good one= long :)

I don't own an iPhone or keep up with its games but Trism looks like a great start at tapping the iPhone's unique sensors.

This might be a dumb question ... but all these iPhone things work for an iTouch, I mean iPod Touch, as well right?

Additional applications like this would increase my chances of getting an iPod Touch for a PDA type device, even if it doesn't vibrate.

In the YouTube video he says it will have levels and possibly a two player mode, but no promises on the two player mode yet.

I saw a guy on a plane flight to Asia yesterday playing different games on his iPhone.

They looked native, not in a browser window, but I could easily be wrong. I was going to ask him about them, but I decided to say nothing.

One game looked like this one, but not exactly.

Honestly I have no idea what the deal is. Again, it easily could have been running in a browser or a jail broken phone. Who knows for sure.

iPhone Games

I certainly can't wait for new games to be released for the iPhone. My question is, will these games be free?
