iPad Pro Unpairing the Apple Pencil from my iPP

Just want to be sure that going in and telling my iPad to forget the device is all I need to do to unpair. I have the pencil packaged to ship to the buyer, and certainly don’t want it to arrive unusable.

No security on the pencil so that will be fine. If you didn't change the name they may see it on their bluetooth setup but its not a big deal. My kids had pencils in school that were taken and the other kids had no issues with setup.

Weird I can use my pencil even if Bluetooth is turned off in control center.
