Unpinned messages repinning themselves?

I had a couple message threads pinned, I manually unpinned them and went back into my main message view a few hours later only to find the messages I had unpinned had repinned themselves.

Anyone else experience this? What's the fix, if any?

iOS 14.0.2 on 11 Pro Max.

I have the opposite problem, or maybe I don’t understand how pinned messages are meant to work. I’ll randomly have pinned messages become unpinned.

So while not the same, you’re not alone with a weird issue!

Don’t want to hijack the thread, but I have the same problem. Some convos won’t stay pinned. Also it won’t let me re pin them. It will let me pin other convos though so it must think it’s already pinned.
