unRAID media storage

I am in the process of ripping my CD/DVD/BD/home video collection for a media server. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on unRAID and especially if anyone happens to own a Lime Tech RB-1200 12-bay server. I am very interested in this server (it is sold out at the moment) to allow the extra headroom for our growing media library.

Any experiences and advice would be appreciated.

I have an unRAID setup. Started off with four drives in an Intel SS4200 and later added a 4 bay eSATA enclosure to expand it to an eight drive array. I use it to stream movies to an Asus O! Play media player and it has been working flawlessly.
