this is probably a crap shoot, but I am looking for an unrar application which can begin extracting files from a multirar archive, pause the extraction if the next available rar is not there, and resume extraction once it is downloaded. this is for usenet downloads. any help?

Unrar App for Batch Downloads

Google for 'Unrarx'. It's a free program and will work with multipart files. You manually run it. Let's say there are 8 files in the batch and you have 5 downloaded. You could use the program for the first 5 and a screen pops up telling you which files have been processed, or if it needs the entire lot downloaded before it can process.

thanks koeningsplein.. i'm currently using unrarx. unfortunately, it doesn't have the ability to automatically check the folder to see if new archives have been downloaded, and autoresume extracting.

perhaps i should lower my standards here. does anyone know of an unrar application which can pause and resume? i'm fairly certain unrarx cannot.
