Someone on a private FB group I'm part of is listing a mid-2011 13" MBA (i7/4GB/256GB) with a significant dent on the bottom (looks like someone put a 1-inch chisel at 90-degrees to the bottom casing and gave it a good whack with a hammer), a partly frayed power cord, battery that lasts only 30 min., and absolutely no extras for $375.00 (down from their original price of $400.00). That computer is worth less than half that price in GOOD condition, LOL!

I didn't say anything to them because some people get easily offended, but I wish people would do pricing research before they list things. I recently sold my mid-2012 13" MBA (i5/4GB/128GB) that was in like-new condition and WITH extras (sleeve + TB to VGA and TB to HDMI adapters) for $125 (priced to move . . . MBA itself was worth $150). Yeah, it sucks to take a hit, but what do you expect? It's a 9-10 year old computer that you can't even update properly to the latest OS.

It also doesn't help that the "13 inch MacBook Air" was virtually unchanged visually for like seven years... If I go to look up the value of a Dell 64F5** MegaLaptop it's much easier for the layman who doesn't understand the differences in the Mid 2014 vs the Mid 2015. Looking that up on ebay will probably show you a nice late model 2015 that might very well be worth $350.
