This is shamefully long overdue. Not because of the exorbitant cost to customers, but the massive environment cost that we needed multiple blocks of plastic just to have one device charge.

Can we please get a new generation charger in different colors besides white? Preferably in black or space gray?
I bet charging bricks (and maybe cables) that matched hardware would be popular with customers.
From Apple's inventory management perspective, only having white bricks and white cables makes it stupid easy to produce and manage. 😉

Apple offers matched colored braided power cable and USB-C to Lighting cables with the 24” iMac, and braided black Thunderbolt cables along with braided black USB-C to Lighting cables with the Studio Display.

The only one I know of them selling separately is the black braided thunderbolt cable.

It does seem like an inventory management decision not to sell them all separately, but you would think if they can manage seasonal colors for watch bands, they could deal with a few colored cables.

I don't get it. Maybe for people who don't own a MacBook Pro charger. I have the Apple 96w charger here and that's all I need to charge everything + swap the head for international travel + extension if needed.

How do you charge an iPhone and iPad (or Apple Watch and iPhone) with it at the same time?

I have a MagSage Duo charger plug into my MacBook Pro + also Storm2 Liquid Powerbank with passthrough charging. So I don't have to carry a bazillion power adapters...

The one with the power cord? You must not travel much... too big and bulky
You just made me double check. It's these RAVpower ones that I have, not Anker, my bad:

RAVpower PD Pioneer 30W USB C Wall Charger Dual Port

I edited my original post. Anker makes one like this but it's slightly larger.

You aren't really saving the environment though. Individual products continue to come with individual chargers because nobody in their right mind is going to bundle a multi-port charger (driving up the cost). These are usually purchased by consumers with multiple electronic devices and wish to streamline their charging setup.

So ironically, the most environmentally-conscious move is really to still pull an Apple, remove the charging brick from their products, and let the consumer decide how they want to go about charging their devices.

Anker Nano II 45W, done. And even the Macbook Air M1 is able charge up to 45W (selling it with less powered charger doesn't use all the potential), plus it supports other fast charge protocols for non Apple phones/tabs.

Yes, you can charge an iPhone and Apple Watch with A MacBook Pro charger, a MacBook, and a Powerbank with pass through charging, or just use a dual port USB-C plug.

I’m still so salty they duped us with the bricks. “Yeah you have 300 of these laying around we need to protect the environment and more importantly cut costs.”

Meanwhile they transition to usb-c cables and all 300 of my bricks are usb-a and so I’ve not yet fast charged my iPhone or watch because I’m don’t want to pay for a new one. Which is on me but how can you sell it as “you’ve got ten iPhone generations worth of bricks at home” and then change the port. It’s frustrating.
