Hi everyone,

Searched the forum and can't find a fix for this.

I'm on a 2008 Mac Pro running 10.6.8 and just successfully partitioned 50GB for use with windows 7 and bootcamp.

Now, when I go to start the windows installer, I put my windows 7 disc in, and then it reboots. It starts up again and the mac sound goes off and the white screen appears... I then hear the disc spinning faster and then my monitor goes to sleep (Dell Ultrasharp) and I can hear the discs spinning and what not.

Basically stuck at this point. Its as if the mac pro isn't sending any information or power to the monitor...

Really need help with this as I'm lost for ideas...

Thank you in advanced,
Daniel.

Surely someone knows?

I've tried with several monitors and it does the same thing.

I have a feeling it might be my graphics card... the ATI Radeon X1900.

You think an upgrade of graphic card to the 5770 will do the trick?
