Unresponsive split view divider resize handle ipad pro

iPad Pro 10.5, up to date iOS 12. No screen protector. Split view resizing was working just fine for me until the past week. Now when I tap and hold the grey handle in the vertical app divider, nothing happens most of the time. I have to try dozens of times before the resize function activates to allow me to resize the two windows. The screen is otherwise very responsive. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Reboot?

I have similar issues on my ipp but it’s bwcause the whole touch is failing.

Tried a reboot, no change. Hope it’s not hardware issue, just got this expensive iPad a year ago.

Yeah me too. It started with dividers not moving, then the keyboard started missing key touches, now drags often stop short, etc.
