iPhone Unresponsive to waking up iPhone max

i had my iPhone max charging and when I tried to wake it up it would. I had to hold down power button and then it woke up. But the usual tap to wake didn't work.

Is this a bug on the newest 12.1 release?

It was wireless charging so it's not that charging wake bug.

I guess it can be a one odf

Happened again. So random. After a minute then it will do it's normal wake screen. Maybe just goes into a deep sleep for a second idk.

Seems to be iOS bug when I use my rav wireless charger

This happens to be once in a while, and sometimes my third party keyboard (Gboard) fails to load after the device is idle for a few minutes and I need to restart in order to fix it.

I had this same issue happen now on my XS Max. I plugged in to charge and after it locked, it happened. Woke up about 30 seconds later. I’m on 12.1.3 beta 4. Seems to be software related. Called Apple, they said roll back to regular release and see if it resolves issue...

Are you on latest release, not the beta?

I have this issue on 12.1.2, normal XS. It's very rare but still happens occasionally.

I cant answer a call some of the time on this new beta.. hope they fix that too
