Hi,

So last night before I went to sleep, I was using my iphone (3g running 4.0) like I normally do: checking some email, answered a phone call, reading a few things in Safari. When I go to sleep, I normally completely shut the phone down to save battery life and so I won't get woken up by a phone call or text in the middle of the night. This morning, after the phone rebooted, the touch screen was completely unresponsive. I couldn't slide to unlock, so I tried rebooting the phone, but the slide to power off was also unresponsive. The phone responds to the home and screen lock buttons, but as far as I can tell the entire screen is unresponsive. Any suggestions as to how to fix this or what might have caused this?

Thanks,

Matt
