unstuffing .rar issue...

my system is haveing trouble opening .rar

its done it before.

any idea?

heres the error i often get...

"An error has occurred while expanding the file "whatever file im trying to open here" (Format error)>

Stuffit has no support for rar version 3. You need to go to http://rarlab.com/ and download the (free) command line client, which includes the terminal apps 'rar' and 'unrar'. There are also rar gui wrappers available from versiontracker.com.
