Unsubscribe thread with confirmation

I often mange to unsubscribe from a thread in the CP by accident. Instead of going to read the last page my finger touch the "unsubscribe" link.

What could be done ?
1) have a confirmation screen before it really get deleted
2) like 1) but with user setting if the confirmation should come
3) a folder with "recently unsubscribed threads"
4) put a resubscribe link in the current message box post deletion

I often do this when browsing the full site from my iPhone. Is slightly annoying as I have to go and find the thread and re-subscribe again.

How about we move the unsubscribe button?

this from my iPad (I use safari-based desktop version; no mobile version or 3rd party apps; which is a part of the problem)



when I click the title of the second thread the "unsubscribe" of the first thread get used (depend on where exactly I touch the screen).

Swapping the "reply" with "Unsubscribe" might already reduce the number of events. Accidentally creating a reply I can easier reverse.

As a workaround of sorts, do you ever use pinch to zoom, to zoom in the area you want to tap? That's what I do when I want to hit the tiny blue arrows to bring me to the first unread post in a thread.

Yes, zoom in I do on iPod touch; really tiny there. On the iPad I'm often happy with hitting the right area. Just the 42% when it fails ...

When it happen more often: Saturday morning, wake up; first thing to grap the iPad and read MR with limited fine motoric in brain and fingers. And direct unsubscribed on "Zuckerberg FB thread".
