Unsupported High sierra software updates

Hi, i installed high sierra on my Macbook Pro 2009, recently i got notification from App store that i need to install software update but i don't know if i can, will there be any problems if i install them ? thanks in advance.

- Specific updates and version number of updates
- Patcher used and version number of patch or method used to get macOS running on unsupported OS.
- Specific model of 2009 Macbook Pro and specs. There are multiple Macbook Pros which came out in 2009.

I installed DosDude's High Sierra patcher

Ok, so you are talking about security updates...
I have an iMac 7,1 (2007) with HS installed with Dosdude1’s patcher and sec updt 2020-001 froze in the the progress bar but registered ok (updated os version in about this Mac), sec updt 2020-002 installed without problems and 2020-003 happened the same as 2020-001. Nothing got destroyed (I have handsoff, airdrop and personal hotspot working through patches and still working) , make sure, even if the progress bar freezes, you wait half or even one hour just to be sure it installs, turn off with power button, turn on and you're good to go. I always make a clone of the drive with Carbon Copy Cloner jus in case something goes bad.
