Untethered Jailbreak on 4.3.1 in the making!

More like its been announced that its possible. No ETA on the actual tool to do it yet. Sounds like we may have to wait awhile still.

Actually, everything needed is done. What his post implied is that he completed his work, which is the untether part (for everything except ipad2 which Comex is working on). So, since Pwnage tool or snowbreeze can get the tether JB, everything we need is already there. All someone has to do is package it all together and remove the minor bugs.
 
c. I am not giving out any ETA again, because the Jailbreak community is simply nuts. Last time I gave an ETA and even before that had passed I got constantly insulted by people that were demanding an immediate release. Sorry guys the more you insult people with the knowledge to actually do what YOU WANT the less motivation there is to use our free time to give it to you.

That doesn't mean it's "arrived". These JB devs always have their exploits WAYYYY before they are actually released to the public.

Don't get me wrong, I get that this is a major step in the right direction, but this is still far from our hands.

Like GSpice said, we don't need any more of these premature rumors, there is already plenty out there.

IMO, until we can download a tool to use on our iphones, it has not "arrived".

3 weeks ago the first untethered JB came about for 4.3
4.3.1 came out 4 days ago.
TU has the ability to do a restore 4.3.1 with BB preservation for IP4, only 2 days ago
Yesterday tethered via Pwnage

Give it another 2 weeks….

Give the guys some credit, they are working there collective a… off for the good of the community on there own time btw!

Nobody here that I can see is discounting their work. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that the developing community, including jb teams, makes massive contributions that benefit tech users whether directly through software, or indirectly through steering the direction of feature demand and capability.

I donate where I can for their efforts.

What *is* irresponsible, TriJet, are posts such as yours which echo, re-echo, and stir fact and rumors which have saturated the internet - they don't need to be repeated *again* on macrumors. It's sad when Google can't even filter out the horrendously redundant news/info on jailbreaking.

You are right sir. I misread your post. I was trying to show why it was possible. I was not addressing the real issue of this thread, its arrival.
 
We need a sticky on the top of every forum that tells everyone how to make an appropriate title. I cant count how many times Ive seen titles like:

iPhone Will Have a 4" Screen!!!

and then OP says: "Do you guys think it will have a 4" screen?

another thread of back & forth non-sense. anyways, i'll wait a bit after the 4.3 jb untethered is released to make sure it works smoothly.
 
Felt I should add i0n1c's last tweet, for those impatient folks out there:

@i0n1c Please don't bother the dev-team now. The deal is: if the beta test is successfull, they are free to do whatever they want with it.
