Unusual Editting

Hey guys, I've spent a lot of time looking at different editing technique and some rather interesting style has come from parody such as Lori singing cannibal corpse [citation needed] I was wondering if anyone knew of any other nonconventional editing styles and techniques?

Nonconventional is usually something I only dabble in mildly, as in the vast majority of cases it doesn't work out. And if it DOES work out, it soon enough becomes conventional. One example is the bourne ultimatum style fight-scene editing.
