Hey everyone, my Macbook Air has been acting strange lately. The screens Backlight randomly flickers, in different patterns. Sometimes only the left side flickers, then the right side and then eventually the whole screens blacklight goes off. Even though the backlight is off, the screen is still ON, and if you shine a flashlight near it you can see the desktop. The backlight stays off until I reset the PRAM. After I reset it, the backlight comes back on for a few minutes, then flickers again and then shuts off... And it happens everytime.

Does anyone have any idea what could be at fault here??

That sounds like a dying backlight power supply, and it sounds like there are two of them, one for each half. Almost certainly not fixable via software.
