I have an older 2008 MacBook Leopard Version 10.5.8. The pointer often is difficult to locate and when moved always displays an unwanted trail behind it. When I play a DVD these images also have phantom/multiple images which lag throughout the video almost as if displaying a slow motion trail of each image, especially those moving across the screen. The desktop display is whited out in a V shaped formation from top down with the wide part of the "V" at the top of the screen. Other than these visual obstacles, the processes appear to work/perform. Any ideas as tgo what has gone wrong with this unit? It has been stored in a closet on a shelf for quite some time but has since been charged and remains plugged in at this time.
