how many of you up this late night...any given night
are
1-working?
2 cant sleep
3 wife kicked you out of bed?

I'm up till' about 4 every night and up and out of the house by noon. I've got one more semester of college left and then it's back to being in bed by midnight and up by 7. I'm just enjoying my time, especially at the number one party school in the U.S.

I'm up writing a paper for my business communications class. Usual night of sleep for me runs from about 2:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. ~ish.

What is a circadian rhythm anyhow?

I think my brain forgot what it meant 2 years ago. :(

uhh im up i can't sleeep after being in iraq for 2 tours...its totally ****ed with my sleep schedule

It's 2:16AM right now in Chicago. I normally don't fall asleep till 3am. My body clock is soooooo effed up. :(

well i am in high school and i am usually up till 2am and "get up" at 7:00 or so. i hat how i know how tired i will be the next day but i am addicted to the internet haha and i just find i am so productive after 11:00.

Usually around midnight to 6:45.
It's enough sleep to get by on. Especially when you consider being out cold for History.

well I used to work evenings and go to bed 2-3am, get up and go to school, depending on the day, between 7 and 9. 1 am isn't all that late, esp. since the bars close at 2.

wow alot of variety in why your up late every night like me?
i'm a firefighter officer every 5 days 24 hr shifts
and those nights i'm awake running calls ....so i might get 2 hours of a nap

It's only 6pm here and we're all still wide awake. More on this story later.

Depends what kind of day I had if a bad one I go straight to bed but if it is a good one I do what ever but tonight I'm going to be revising for a stupid maths test so I doubt I'll sleep until 3/4 am

To some extent, it depends on a number of factors. Personal inclination/temperament, time zone dislocation, nature of one's job, and/or job changes, and what degree of personal autonomy you have over your work hours and so on.

My personal preference is to work late (say around 8pm to 2 am) especially when writing, researching, planing material or editing and I have done that for long periods of time. However, my time is not always my own, especially now, when I am working to timetables not of my devising.

Cheers

I was up until 1 AM last night, and had previously woken up at 1 AM the night before. Today I slept until 4 PM. Tomorrow I'll wake at 7 AM. My sleeping schedule is just ****ed up

I've been nodding off at anytime between 2-4pm in the last month. Fixing that tonight. Only grabbed about 4 hours sleep last night, had no caffeine at all today. Bloody shattered (it's nearing midnight here). Suppose that counts as early for me though.

I'm a night owl...I don't think I've been asleep before 4am the past 4 nights. Either out partying or just staying up doing not much of anything. :p

I do like to sleep a lot though...I just tend towards sleeping 4am-noon.

I haven't been sleeping well lately - the job has been on my mind, and I think that has a lot to do with it.

But I'm normally up to around midnight. And it usually takes me about an hour to actually fall asleep once my head hits the pillow.

wow, i relate to every single word.

x 2

On weekdays, I get to sleep anywhere between 12:45 AM and 2 AM. I hate myself for it the next morning, because I'm a zombie without at least 10 hours of sleep, but I just can't go to sleep any earlier.

Weekends and extended holidays, It could be anywhere between 8 PM and uh...8 AM the following day.

Summer vacation, I basically become nocturnal. :p
