NewEgg has some good cheap memory and now I've got 2GB...pretty sweet. She runs even better now. Not gloating, just highly recommend that everyone try it...

I recently went from 512 to 1.5 GB in my G5 and the difference is huge. RAM makes all the difference in OS X!

RAM makes a lot a difference, i got the standred 256mb of RAM and could no9t do anythign with it so i got 2GB for my PowerMac and now it runs like the wind 🙂

I currently have 1.25GB in my G5 and I feel it's a little slow. I'm going to wait until the 1GB dimms drop to a reasonable price, then I will deck it out to the max of 4GB. Who knows, the G5 could accept 2GB dimms?

im running on 1 gig, maybe when the 1 gig sticks get cheaper i will upgrade at the time i upgraded 1 gig where astronomical heres to ram price drops 😀
