Please recheck your serial number and enter it again. Click to expand... This seems to be a common enough problem. I doubt a Mac Pro on October 6, and neither registration nor the "up to date" program will recognize my serial number. I called Apple, and they try their best to get rid of me and not fix the problem. I want to order Leopard, and instead of fixing the issue, Apple says to just use the mail-in form. That's fine for ordering Leopard, but that doesn't fix the problem. It affects registration, and who knows what else. I can just see it now: a few months from now my Mac dies and I got to get warranty service and they'll claim I never registered. (grumble)
