Sure. I've been here a long time and have posted numerous complaints about their butterfly keyboards. I have posted numerous complaints about catalina and its support of SMB. Back in the day I had numerous complaints about graphics chips on MBPs.

I complain when complaints are necessary. I don't lie and say "apple tv sux!"

I'm not sure if you're implying that I said or think Apple TV+ sux I actually defended it on a reply to someone else. I like most of apples services. I'm an AM user because I like that I can make smart playlists but I also think it's annoying that I need a computer to make a smart playlist and can't do so on my iOs products. Especially not being able to at least make them on an iPad pro.

I definitely am not afraid to call out short comings from any tech brand's products. Maybe I'm harder on Apple because I actually use their products on the daily and hold them at a higher standard, but I also give Apple props when they doing something well.

So 3 complaints about Apple products in how many years? The average Apple user can probably complain about 3 bugs in a single software update. Just saying. ;)

Ok. Sorry, I was pretty careful about the way i phrased it, but i guess it wasn’t clear. Netflix has some good shows. And also a lot of terrible shows that look like they were thrown together in someone’s garage.

But I mean that could be a part of show's charm. I personally haven't seen many with that bad of perceived quality but I also think you're going to get that when you have a lot more content.

I will say if you're someone who doesn't watch a lot of TV/Movies Apple TV+ at it's price, even more so now if bundled, is nice if you just want to watch a few shows here and there. Biggest beef with Netflix is how expensive it is now and having to pay extra for Dolby Vision and HDR leaves an bad taste in my mouth, but it does have plenty of good content.

I’m sure I’ve complained about other things as well. I recall one ios beta that disabled the phone functionality, for example. I recall a few posts where I said dashboard on macos was stupid. I’ve probably posted close to 20,000 times, and they’re not all positive.

I'm not familiar with any of the actors.
I am familiar with all of them. I saw Kristin Chenoweth in Wicked before it went to Broadway, then again on Broadway. I saw her in The Apple Tree on Broadway, and I saw her in the audience for a Martin Short one man show (she was planted in my row, where a spotlight picked her out to be interviewed onstage by Jiminy Glick while Martin lay dying in a hospital bed after being struck by lightning). I would tune in just for her.

Cecily Strong is very good on SNL, especially in this clip that is wrong on So. Many. Levels.

In my defense you stated "Every single show on Apple TV+ is a quality program, unlike Netflix" this could very easily be construed as you saying every show on Netflix is garbage, which simply isn't true, and subjective as well.
Funny, I took that as “every single show on Apple TV+ is a quality program, while not every single show on Netflix is of similar high quality.”

Keegan-Michael Key has done some great shows and some great sketch comedy. Search YouTube for White Zombies and How to Tell if Someone is an Alien Imposter.

Kristin Chenoweth was one of the leads in Wicked on broadway.

They may be good but still sound like like B actors.

Why doesn't Apple spend some money and get at least one well known A actor ?

Musical? Hate it
I thought the same about "Hamilton" until it came out free on Disney + so I started watching it and now it's one of my Fav's. Maybe you should hold off judging until you actually tried to watch it?

Most great TV shows are casts with only B-list (or lower) stars to start. Kristin Chenoweth is an E - - T winner (half of EGOT).

Apple has films and shows with A-list talent (Tom Hanks as an easy example) where it makes sense, but they do not seem to be worried about it as the only factor for green lighting a project.

However, my experience is that for TV it is much harder to predict whether I will like a show based on its cast than for features or plays.

That was my read as well. I also presumed that you were talking about production values, rather then whether you liked them.

I watch the start of quite a few Netflix, and find that many of them are must crap. Filler purchased or produced so that people see lots of new stuff when they browse. :)

I currently have Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ CBS All Access (soon to be Paramount+), Disney+ (got the super cheap 3 year deal that makes it about $2/month), Epix, HBOMax, Hulu+, Starz and a few others (via a DirecTv subscription). Some I get free through industry deals, some I pay to have. I find I am overwhelmed with content and I am not sure I would lose much if I dropped to only one or two of them. So far I have found quite a few of the Apple TV+ shows to be worth watching but they still do not have enough to have it be my only service.

Biggest beef with Netflix is how expensive it is now and having to pay extra for Dolby Vision and HDR leaves an bad taste in my mouth, but it does have plenty of good content.

My biggest complaints with Netflix are the sheer amount of crap they have and the number of shows they cancel in their second season (it seems that two seasons is their sweet spot brings in and retains the most subscribers).

Sorry, but no. I can˚t accept them to suddenly start singing. As if you sang to me, I would go away

Hamilton is not a musical, it is ”Sung Through” (the new way to say ‘Opera that is not operatic’ :) ). The difference is that in sung through plays everything is sung which to me is easier to accept (i.e. a world in which everything is sung is consistent) rather than a world were, for no apparent reason, people break out in song and everyone else knows the tune and harmony.

Reminds me of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode ("Once More, with Feeling") where everyone did just break out into song for no apparent reason, but it turned out to be an integral part of the story.
