Hope they fix TV Series Artwork. Currently if you have multiple season of the same series iTunes 11 only displays the artwork for the first season which ever episode / season you are viewing. This seems unique to iTunes 11 and Apple TV still shows the correct artwork, would be good to have the unique artwork relevant to the season re-instigated in an iTunes 11 update.

Does that include content purchased through iTunes?

Just wondering if its a problem reading the user imputed meta data or a problem their end.

I very much enjoyed Coverflow for iTunes. I am not a fan that it's gone. However I never used it anywhere else. That being said, I can see it being removed from OS X 10.9 entirely.

Has anyone been able to find if there is still a way to sort by the most recently added music? that is probably the most or 2nd most common way i sorted my music. if i buy a bunch of new stuff and just want to listen to it, i just want to sort that way and not have to create a "new" play list for it.

and

If anyone finds out I'd sure like to know. This was how I sorted my music most often.

Smart playlist using "Date added", "in the last", XXXX "days"

All your latest additions will be in that playlist and then they'll fall out after the number of days you set for XXXX. You won't have to create a new playlist as you add music; the system will update this one playlist as you add new stuff.

The one thing I miss is Column Browser on the left side, hopefully they'll add that back. And CB can be enabled in playlists when the sidebar is hidden but not when it's shown - that one just looks like a bug. Hopefully both get fixed.

I still see it the same way I always have. Under the "songs" view, right click on the column headings and Date Added is an option. It may not be available in the non-list views, but at least it's one way to do it.

Lets hope they 'fix' shuffle play as well, i.e put it back to being by playlist rather than globally on/off

Nothings a bug - its just the way it is

If you switch to Song view and right click on the header banner, you can add in other banner items including Date Added.

That said, anyone else find anytime they import a movie it gets tagged as a Home Video? I have to manually go into the Info section and update the sorting to Movies vs Home Videos.

Also, under the Movies view, can anyone actually type and get moved to that section? Any time I type a letter to go to the M's, for example, it drops me to the end of my list. The only way to get to an item is to scroll or use the search.

On the plus side, they brought color back to the iTunes Finder window on the left! Yay! Now if they could do that in actual OSX Finder...

Or worse, my fault... Glad they're fixing my album art for me

Yay for bug fixes, but I'm hoping they address a bug that's really starting to irritate me: whenever I double click a song to start playing it, the mini player appears even though the full-size player is still there. ?? Was this intentional? I'm hoping not...

Here is the deal with CoverFlow

IT WAS AN OPTION ! You didn't have to like it or use it at all !

For having your songs on shuffle with a stereo system hooked up to the TV it was Awesome !

Saying you're glad it's gone is stupid.

Pick your poison. Do you want the interface to be simplified, or do you want it to include tons of dubious "options" so that you can complain about how it's "bloatware?"

i always use coverflow on iTunes and finder so I'll be sad to see it go. But I find it annoying on my iPhone.

Yes, you can still do this. It must be done in "song view", and if you don't see the date added column, you must hover your cursor over one of the existing column headers like artist or name, and then right click and you'll see other options that you can add like date added and bit rate etc.

They sure hid it, but you can definitely get it back.
Awesome! Thanks!

Is there any way to view the iCloud status of the songs? In the previous iTunes you could see if a song was uploaded or matched. Can't find it anywhere...

Edit: Thanks Jperkinski! That also answered this question :)

Hopefully, Apple will also implement the resume playback feature that was available in SoundJam MP in 2001, from where iTunes was developed.

The artwork error I keep having is that it doesn't take the new ones :S

I have completely removed the album artwork from a song in iTunes, cleared the downloaded artwork, told it to Get the album artwork and it has, some of my older ones have some shoddy googled images because iTunes didn't find them. But anywhere between a minute and overnight, iTunes will put the old image back :S

Obviously there is a cache somewhere and I haven't looked yet, so if anyone has any solution, I'd be lad to hear of it :)

Hoping it fixes the playback of several ripped DVDs which now play with no audio since the upgrade.

When adding new artwork to tracks (I prefer to add my own artwork), I could just drag and drop the artwork into this window and add it to multiple tracks at once. This option is now gone. Now I have to select each track individually, go to info, select artwork tab and add it. That is a pain in the buns when adding multiple tracks to my library. Does anyone know of another way?

Select multiple tracks, get info, drag and drop artwork onto artwork square. No need to select each track individually.

Will the manager responsible for this late, buggy release of iTunes also be fired, like the Maps guy?
